Rachel had a chance to visit with Stefanie and ask her some questions. Here is what Stefanie had to say:

Tell us about where you live and your daily routine? I live in Northern Virginia just about 30 minutes west of Washington DC. My daily routine…I usually get up around 6, have some coffee and wake up the kids. Disney channel on in the background and kids up…I just in the shower to get ready for my 8-5 job as an Administrative Assistant/Graphics Artist for a small Project management company. After work, I pick up the kids from school, make dinner, take the kids outside for walks and bike rides, baths and then wine and scrapping for mommy! Bed is usually around 10:30 and then get up the next day and do it all over again

How would your friends describe you? Outgoing, creative and fun!

How did you get involved with Digital Scrapbooking, did you Paper Scrap first? When Ben (my oldest son) was born in 2006, I needed to figure out a way to document all the pictures I was taking of his first year. I never got involved with paper scrapbooking because I wouldn’t be able to organize all of the stuff in my small house so I looked into something that involved using my computer. I somehow stumbled across a bunch of digital scrapbooking sites and that was the end of the discussion…I was hooked.

How often do you Scrap and how much time do you spend on your computer!? I try to scrap every night if possible but atleast 5 times a week for an hour or so before bedtime.

What is your favourite scrapping subject? My kids…hands down!

What other hobbies do you have besides scrapbooking? Reading, cooking, trying new wines, traveling and spending quality time with family and friends.

What is your workspace like where you create your Scrapbooking layouts? I have a small homemade desk in a nook in my living room. It’s sort of cluttered with pens, notebooks, and external hard drives. It also allows me to watch TV if I want to while scrapping or surfing the internet.

it’s a very different style for me, my layouts are usually white space and clustering. This one was a very simple layout but I LOVE how it turned out!

I chatted to Jacqueline and here is what she has to share with you!

Tell us about where you live and your daily routine?

I live with my family in Germany …. in the northern part, near Hanover. We live in a house where there is all day bustle! I have two children. I have been married for 8 years. My children are 5 years (my son) and two years (my daughter) My daily life: At the moment I am a stay at home mom, next year I start my job again. In the morning I bring my son to kindergarten. Then I do the budget and play with my daughter. In the afternoon we do some things together as a family … Cycling, swim or we go into the garden. How would your friends describe you?

My friends say I’m crazy. * Lol * I talk a lot  like,my children! Online I do not chat as much. My English is not very good, but the vocabulary is growing every day. My husband says I am restless …. he simply has less energy than I *lol* How did you get involved with Digital Scrapbooking, did you Paper Scrap first?

Scrapbooking I have discovered via the Internet. This was in late 2006 and now I’m addicted to it. *lol* How often do you Scrap and how much time do you spend on your computer!?

I’m usually online at night. Usually several hours …. 3 hours on average. At the weekend more. This is relaxation for me. There are so many great scrappers. I love to visit their blogs!

What is your favourite scrapping subject?

Favorite subject: My children, my niece, my nephew. Or pictures of friends. I have problems scrapping other subjects as I have very little other photos besides the children!

What other hobbies do you have besides scrapbooking?

I photograph a lot as I feel I consantly need new pictures. *lol* I’ve read a lot, but I no longer have the time. What is your workspace like where you create your Scrapbooking layouts?

We have an extra room. This is where I spend a lot of my time and do a lot of scrapping and play with the children, and relax. Sometimes I watch television.

I chatted to Mycau and here is what she has to share with you!

Tell us about where you live and your daily routine? Well, I live in the suburb of Montreal, in Canada. I have a little apartment, and I live by myself. I love my freedom! I do have a full-time job as a banker, and I hate to say it, but I really have a daily routine! LOL I work the evening shifts, so I normally get up around 10AM, and as soon as I am up, I open my computer! LOL I will go through my e-mail, and all my CT duties. Check if there are new kits to play with, take care of everything that needs to be done that are not layout related! Then, I leave for work and I am not back until almost midnight. I do another quick little check up on my CTs, and then, if mojo allows, I will then work on my LOs!

How would your friends describe you? They’d probably say that I am a very reserved individual. Surprisingly, I really don’t talk much, which is the complete opposite of how I am online… LOL I tend to listen more than I actually talk! Out of all my closest friends, I think it is right to say that I am the most grounded one. And they would probably say that I am a very honest, generous and caring person. If you have me on your good side, I would actually do ANYTHING for you! =)

How did you get involved with Digital Scrapbooking, did you Paper Scrap first? I actually never really paper scrapped before, appart from a couple of pages… Never finished an album! It was actually for my mother that I tried, but really… I don’t have the patience for it! When it comes to digiscrapping… Well, it all started out with an online site called Glogster. It has nothing really to do with digiscrap… It’s kinda hard to explain, but it really is a good way for expressing yourself through images, music, graphics… Anyways! I was searching for new graphics to use for my stuff there, and that is where I found Digital Scrapbooking Supplies… And eventually found the community… And I was hooked. I have never been to that other site ever again! LOL I have now been digiscrapping for a little over a year! =)

How often do you Scrap and how much time do you spend on your computer!? … I am kinda shy to say! When I think about it, it is a shame that I have lost so many hours on that little machine! LOL I could spend HOURS on the computer… And I can not get enough of it!! I really can not count… Sometimes, I have NOTHING to do. No mojo, no CT duties, no more challenges to take part in… And I am just bored. I find myself just jumping from site to site doing nothing at all!! Ridiculous! LOL

What is your favourite scrapping subject? I have to say my little nephew. He is such a cutie, plus I have so many pictures of him that I can use for a lot of different subject! I do scrap a lot using my friend’s kids picture too. Having no kids myself, it makes it that much easier for me to scrap! I find it really hard scrapping for myself, or my actual friends… I find we are all too old for the cute little kits around! HAHA

What other hobbies do you have besides scrapbooking? I must say that I am FREAK when it comes to Hockey! I am Canadian after all…!! So during winter time, I will watch a lot of that on TV! I also read a lot! I love reading.. It’s a way for me to let my imagination travel! I love fantasy books! And last but not least… Traveling. Traveling is an obsession for me. I’d go EVERYWHERE if I could!! I consider myself lucky that I was able to travel as much as I did so far!

What is your workspace like where you create your Scrapbooking layouts? I don’t really have a working place. I have a laptop, and I normally just sit on the couch, in front of the TV or listening to music… And I scrap! I don’t have a computer desk… I really can not wait to buy a computer… My laptop won’t really support Photoshop… I wish I would design, but I won’t be able to do so until I have the equipment, right?! LOL

The reason why I picked it is probably because it is one of the best memory that I have with my mother. We went on a trip together in Mexico, back in 2009. My mother normally won’t allow us to take picture of her, but this time it was different. We were walking on the beach, and I am so happy that I was able to take these shots. I thought she looked amazing, and so confident in herself… It made me realize how much I love that woman and how good of a role model she has always been for me. It might not be the best looking LO, but it sure touches my heart the most! =)
